Why does the blower dry without scratches?
Because nothing touches the paint. A drying towel drags leftover grit and sand across the clear coat, which can create fine scratches (so-called swirls). The TurboDry instead blows the water away with air — with no contact to the surface at all.
How is this different from a normal hair dryer?
A household hair dryer is made for drying hair, not a whole car: it delivers only a small airflow, heats up quickly in continuous use and blows warm air. The TurboDry is a professional car blower, built to blow down an entire vehicle surface.
What is the mobile dock for?
The mobile dock is a rolling station: it moves around the car with you so the unit stays within reach and off the wet floor. You can work all the way around the vehicle without carrying the blower.
How loud is the TurboDry?
It is a powerful blower with a motor — audible like a vacuum cleaner or a leaf blower. We deliberately do not quote a decibel figure, as it depends on the environment and how it is measured. Expect noticeable operating noise and consider ear protection for longer sessions.
How do I clean and maintain it?
After use, wipe the housing with a dry or slightly damp cloth and store the unit dry. Keep water out of the interior and keep the air vents free of dust.
